About the Trainers:
Dr. Matthew Pugh is a clinical psychologist, cognitive-behavioral psychotherapist, advanced schema therapist, voice dialogue facilitator, researcher, and chairwork practitioner. With over 15 years of experience in mental health facilities, both within the NHS and private organizations, he co-directs chairwork.co.uk with Tobyn Bell. He holds various roles including Teaching Fellow at University College London, Consultant Clinical Psychologist at Psychology Tools, and Visiting Tutor at Henley Business School. He is the author of "Cognitive Behavioural Chairwork: Distinctive Features".
Dr. Tobyn Bell is a psychotherapist specializing in compassion-focused therapy, also a accredited cognitive-behavioral therapist, schema therapist, and voice dialogue facilitator. He serves as a lecturer and operational leader at the University of Manchester and co-directs Chairwork with Dr. Matthew Pugh. Tobyn conducts workshops nationally and internationally on compassion and chairwork, and is an active researcher in these fields.
